Appendix H; Richard Tregaskis; Reporting Under Fire from Guadalcanal to Vietnam, an interview with Ray E Boomhower

 This time I conduct an interview with Mr. Ray Boomhower, author of Richard Tregaskis; Reporting Under Fire from Guadalcanal to Vietnam from the University of New Mexico Press. The book is a biography of Richard Trgaskis a war correspondent who served across multiple theaters from the south pacific to the rhine valley and was the Author of the highly influential “Guadalcanal Diary.” In this episode I speak to Mr. Boomhower about his biography and about Tregaskis life and experiences. We also went a little bit “off script” as it were, after the formal interview portion ended but I decided I liked that part of the discussion just as much as the formal part, so I kept it in.
